If you’re like many riders, your motorcycle’s appearance is as important as its performance. With Harley-Davidson® Appearance Protection you can keep your bike looking as good as the day you rode out of the dealership. Scotchgard™ Paint Protector guards against the elements you’ll encounter on the road, like salt, hard water, tree sap, insects, bird waste, acid rain, and more.
If covered damage does occur, affected areas will be repaired and resurfaced, restoring your paint to its original condition. Scotchgard™ Leather and Vinyl Protector repel stains from food, drink, lotions, ink, and more. Your leather and vinyl are also covered in the event of rips, tears, cracks, or loose stitching, caused by weather or UV weakening. Rips or tears less than 2" or punctures less than ¼" will be repaired and surface treated. And to keep that shine, the Scotchgard™ Protector will defend your chrome against the environment. Motorcycle theft is an unfortunate but real crime. Harley-Davidson® Theft Protection protects you and your assets by helping law enforcement quickly identify your bike - aiding in recovery and, if necessary, helping you purchase a replacement motorcycle.
Available on new or used H-D® motorcycles and fully transferrable if you sell your bike to a private party. The invisible DataDot™ theft recovery systems placed on parts of your motorcycle are registered in a secure database accessible to law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
The database cross-references the VIN and DataDots™ so that a recovered motorcycle will be returned as quickly as possible. If H-D™ Theft Protection fails to result in the recovery of your stolen motorcycle, you’ll receive up to $5,000 toward the purchase of a replacement motorcycle.
