"My purchase experience at Man O War Harley was fantastic. I came to their store in sandals and could barely walk after foot surgery . My wife and I were treated like a king and queen as we were paraded around the showroom and introduced to all the departments . We had already been to a few other dealerships and were not taken serious I guess because of my general appearance. I purchased my 09 Softail Custom and because of my condition they delivered it to my door (2.5 ) hour drive away. They need to teach a training course to car dealers on how to treat people . I will be a repeat customer .

My husband is in the military stationed overseas, he was in for a visit and the day before he has to fly out he notices an oil leak in his beloved harley! Rushed to the HD store hoping to get there before closing, called to ask if the part was in and they offered to have it ready. "I just recently purchased a new HD from Man-o-War HD. Corey, one of the salesmen, looked after our every need, answered any questions we might have had and even throwed in some that an experienced rider like myself had not thought of; a very educated young man in the HD world. Randy handled all the "legal" paperwork as efficient and quick as I have ever seen and before I knew it, I was ready to ride out the door on a brand new HD. Before I rode out the door, Randy handed me a small silver bell and told me to have a safe ride. I knew about the gesture of someone else buying the silver bell and giving it to the biker, but this is the first dealership in all my time where this has happened to me and I've owned a coupe of HDs in my time. "After losing the use of my turn signals 500 miles into a 1200 mile trip from New Mexico, I was out of luck when it came to finding an open dealership due to the fact that it was the 4th of July weekend. After arriving in Lexington on Monday, I hunted down the Man 'O War HD to have the issue fixed. From the first contact over the phone to the time that I picked the bike up, the entire staff was more than helpful, and extremely friendly. Even though I arrived after the technicians had gone home for the day my bike was immediately placed on a lift to be looked at first thing the next morning. The technicians did an amazing job and the problem was corrected in only one hours time. Nothing gives you a greater feeling than knowing that these people will do anything that they can to help you when you need it most. Shorted turn signals may seem like an insignificant problem compared to other things that could have gone wrong, but that is beside the point. The point is that the staff at Man 'O War (especially those in the service department) are absolutely outstanding. Keep up the great work guys!"

"I just wanted to comment that although I have not had the greatest of reception from the sales or accessories departments yet I HAVE to state how GREAT your parts and service department has been.
The guys in the parts department are always ready and MORE than willing to help. They shoot the info and price straight and do whatever they can to accommodate your needs. And although not as important as the excellent customer service skills they ALSO have a large number of the parts on hand and ready (even for less pricey bikes such as the one I have)
The service department although in the summer always being booked out (please expand) when I did finally get to use them they were the best I have dealt with yet.
I have been using other shops over the summer to get things done cheaper and quicker. But after having these other shops do things like leave the back brake unhooked, put parts on incorrectly etc (even though they have a certified Harley tech) I decided that my life was worth more than that..
I wish I could remember the name of the tech that spoke to me on the phone and also greeted me at the door. The level of professionalism put me at ease of leaving my bike to be worked on... There was also another individual "Mike" that came up front as well (maybe he can remember the other guys name) both were excellent in making me feel at ease of them working on the bike as well as just being kind to someone that drives a little cheap bike.
To TOP it off when I picked my bike up they loaded it for me (no other shop has done this) and gave me a run down of what needed to be done etc. even though it was on the ticket.
When I got to ride my bike the next day I could not believe how well it worked. It was like the bike was new again. My back brake was working perfect, the bike was making less noise, it appeared someone cleaned the wheels or something, the clutch worked great, everything was better than I expected. In fact I know that in the future more than likely there is no way things will go that well but they sure did this time.
I have waited a couple weeks to send this since I figured maybe something would pop up and prove me wrong but everything is still working like new and I am amazed. I doubt (unless it is an emergency) that I will take my bike anywhere else for a long time.
Please commend the parts and service guys for making your store a great one.

"I took my '98 Road King to your Lexington dealership for new tires and bearings packing this month. However, when one of the techs "messed up," I was left with a very unsafe machine. When I returned it and they checked it out, they apologized and promised to bring it back to 100%. They did just that and even loaned me a new Road King to use while they were doing it. I must have met every department head in the place. They all went out of their way to make everything right and safe on my bike. And it didn't cost me one red cent! Thank you, everyone involved."

"My wife and I left of Friday Sept. 19 2008, later in the afternoon and we are on our HD Ultra Classic with a trailer in tow and we were on I75 heading south going to Parris Island for our sons graduation from US Marines boot camp. As you can see now this is not just any road trip it is a VERY important trip for us. We got a flat tire at about 6:30 or so on the rear tire of the bike. We were able to get to the side of the road without any problems, immediately called HOG roadside assistance and they contacted your store for us and connected us to Bob. I talked to him and he said while I was still on the phone that there was someone on there way to pick us up. I don't remember his name but He was extremely friendly when He arrived and took excellent care of our bike and us. When we got back to the store Bob, Mike, and Josh had stayed late put us a new tire on and got us back on the road in a short time. Somehow they must have known (we didn't tell them) the importance of our trip. I want to say THANK YOU to all 4 of them because We will never forget them and there hospitality. They were there after hours on a Friday night and Bob talked to us like we were there mid day. No one acted like we were putting them out on a Friday night. I am sure that they all had other things planned or places to go. Thanks Bob, Mike (service tech entertainer), Josh, and the pickup driver, your are all #1 to us. "I would like to offer my sincere thank you to the entire Service deptartment, especially Bob and Jim Castor. The services rendered were the result of a non-scheduled stop during our Kentucky vacation, when my Ultra Classic was not running to my satisfation. Upon arriving at the dealership we were literally greeted outside by Bob, who then commeneced to assisting with our needs. He then turned over the service request to Mr. Castor who promptly drove the bike and offered his recommendations. He remarked that the bike was running to his satisfaction and since it had an aftermaket tuner installed I would need to handle that seperately, but should not be concerned with what I described as a possible calibration issue. He did however recommend replacing my rear tire as it was severerly worn. He also recommended replacing the rear brake pads, while the tire was removed. I agreed to the recommendations and also had the front tire replaced.
All in all, although spending more money then anticipated, the experience and treatment we received were exceptional. Man O'War HD deserves praise for both staff and services rendered.
